Female athletes deserve recognition not just at the professional and division 1 level. All female athletes deserve recognition for the hard work and perseverance it takes to play at the college level. Many times division 3 athletes are overlooked because division 3 doesn’t come with a prestige of a division 1 University nor an athletic scholarship. One thing that all female athletes, at all levels have in common is hard work, dedication and unwavering love for the game.
My name is Angelique Palacio and I am a division 3 athlete at Fredonia State University and I am here to give you an inside look at female athletes here at Fredonia. This website will highlight interviews with female players and coaches and their experience at the D3 level and if they see any inequalities in female sports at Fredonia.
